In this article we are going to be looking at how much does a dentist make, this post is going to center on the monthly, weekly, and the hourly income made by dentist. First who is a dentist?  This are medical experts that takes care of the teeth, they help in diagnosing, treating all form of teeth related diseases, in general all that has to do with the month. Also in the case where by there is a bad tooth they are the one fit to remove the tooth, they prescribe drugs and give patient advice on oral hygiene.

In terms of money been paid as income, to be sincere they are well paid, there salary is very attractive when compared to other profession, though there are difference  in terms of salaries among dentist this depends on some factor which include standard of living in certain states which is higher than other stays this calls  for increase in salaries, also differences in qualification is another factor, for instance a dentist with a general knowledge cannot be compared with a dentist that  who is an expert in a specific filed in dentistry, hence the latter will receive more pay than the one with the general knowledge.

According to the survey conducted in 2011 by the Bureau of Labor Statistics in United States, on the income received by dentist it showed that about $160,000 are by paid to general dentist yearly, while $70 is their hourly pay, also same survey shows that the lowest income receive pay week stood about $1,400 while the highest paid per week is about $4,500.

With this very attractive pay per month and weekly one will be attracted to becoming a dentist. There is more to it than mere saying it, it will take some significant amount of years to achieve this goal.  This include getting a degree in a sciences related course and going to the dental school which in which the duration is four years before you can confidently say you are a dentist but for those going for specific course such as cosmetic dentist extra years than the normal fours years is needed
